VHF NFD - Well we were active on 70mhz 144mhz & 432mhz, Unfortunately the 1296mhz equipment developed a fault at the last minute. We also had a problem with the 70cms beam for the first 4 hrs until we decided to take it down and we found a coax fault.

All seemed a little quiet 70mhz & 432mhz being the worst, but on 144mhz we really banged along with 40 qso's more than last year.

A big thanks goes to all operators, loggers and the tea lady !

Thanks to all who came to visit and give some morel support when times were low.

Lighthouse Activity Weekend 21/22 August 1999 - Thanks to all who came along to support us, The weather was excellent this year and I think we all had a good time.
I know my throat still hurts now. We were working something like 40 stations per hour at times but most bands seemed a little poor especially 80m which was dead. Oh well I suppose you cannot have everything.
